Barbecue's Aren't Just for Burning Burgers ! !

Twenty years worth of paper- work take a long time to destroy if you're using a shredder. But alas, we've burned up two of those handy (although completely gutless) machines recently. We had a paper cutter, and chopped a mountain of paper by hand, clearing the excess from our file cabinet. It took a really long time though, and my right bicept is remarkably firmer.

















Tonight, we decided to clean out the desk, and found all of our savings and investment statements for the past 20 years.

Our Weber, kettle-style charcoal grill was the perfect solution for the annihilation of the evidence.

Our activities didn't go un-noticed though. . . .When we were about seventy five percent finished with the task, a security man came bursting through our back gate to check out the patio fire. Our neighbors had been walking past our back yard, and could smell smoke -- They grabbed the security guy and rushed to our rescue. We explained that we were just barbecuing. . . .
