MOTHER DAUGHTER WEEK-END AKA GIRLS GONE WILD-09 !!

We began our fun week-end by picking up Andrea at the SLC airport at 8:30 AM on Friday, the 18th, and then enjoyed a relaxing breakfast together.

We had fun trying on hats, and browsing the Fashion Place Mall to finalize our Christmas shopping. We had so much fun together! There was room in our hotel for a fun game of Wizard.
We also enjoyed making refrigerator magnets for our families. Heather provided the materials -- Thanks Heather!! It was a really good time!
. . . . . .and of course, we didn't skimp on the treats and delicacies of the season. Yummmm
The music and spoken word at the conference center was probably the highlight of our week-end out. This was probably the best week of the Tabernacle Choir's renditions! It was so enjoyable!

I taught the girls how to make Peanut Brittle. We changed the recipe a little, and tried slivered almonds. It turned out quite nice.
We concluded our week-end together by watching a Christmas movie together, and making a really pretty Christmas decoration for our homes. This was a great time to spend quality time together and solidify our relationships. Our appreciation is extended to the wonderful men in our lives that assisted in making this fun week-end together possible.
