Daming Lake Park is regarded as one of the three must-see tourist spots in Jinan (the other 2 are Baoutu Springs and Thousand Buddha Mountain). Daming Lake is also known as the Lake of Great Splendor. It is a natural lake formed from many springs. Characteristically unique is its constant water level, unaffected by heavy rains or drought. Saturday morning, we got our exercise by walking around Daming Lake. It's small, as lakes go (113 acres) -- nothing like the Great Salt Lake, or even Utah Lake. It took us about an hour and a half to make the loop.
The weather was lovely, we had a nice time, and we got some good pictures.
