One thing we have loved doing here in China is shopping at the various ethnic or culture markets in the cities we have visited. We paid one last visit to the Jinan ethnic market this past Saturday and enjoyed the cultural experience it always is. Below are some of the fun sights and items for purchase in the market.
Scorpions they sell as health food snacks!.....yum!

Maggots and worms.......we think sold as bird food but we're not sure!
Song birds not caged, but chained!
Cute little mice which we "think" are sold as pets!
