We've emptied the house, and had our last Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, today is almost over. We will get through Monday and Tuesday and then Wednesday is the exit day! After tomorrow our refrigerator and 2 TVs and microwave will be gone. On Tuesday, the washer and dryer will be gone as well. These are items that we've sold, but have been able to hang on to until the last minutes.
Today I went to the beauty parlor, and got a facial, hair cut and color, manicure and pedicure as well as my eyebrows shaped -- all for under $75.00. I'll miss the good deals to be had at the beauty parlor. Can't get it all for even half that much in the states.
I vaccumed our house for the last time today. I had to borrow a friend's vaccume to do it. It was actually kind of sad. I've liked this house. It's been nice for us.
But. . . . we've got a great house to loof forward to in American Fork. . . and we are excited to get there and settle back into being full time Americans. We're really looking forward to the 4th of July, birthday partys with the grand-kids, Pioneer Day, Steel Days, Strawberry Days, etc., etc., etc.,. . . . . .
