MOVING DAY ! ! !

The move is beginning, and we have three workers here from 8:30 AM until 3:30 PM for the next four days! CBE (Community Business Exchange) is the company that is doing the work for us. They seem to be very good, from all we've seen.

They wrap everything in plastic or paper, then wrap it in cardboard, and then put it in a box. Everything is solid as can be. No room for shaking and trying to guess what's in the box. They started work on Saturday morning, and think that they will finish up on Wednesday some time.

Aramco's Furniture Warehouse delivered some fine furnishings for us to subsist on while the move is taking place. Do you remember it from 20 years ago when we first moved here? I think that it's the exact same stuff!

This room (above) used to be our bedroom.

This is where we're sleeping now. They're nice firm mattresses. Not too bad if we can ignore the big mess all around us.

This is our "Moving Guardian". He sat up in the tree above our house the whole first day of our move. He must have decided that all was going well. . . . because he's moved on to oversee someone else's first day of moving.
