Camels and Donkey Carts

The Chinese camels are a lot easier to ride than the Arab Camels.  They don’t spit, and they don’t make as much noise either.  But having two humps makes it a lot easier to stay on. 

Note the nice orange booty accessories we had.  This was supposed to keep the sand out!

Here we are at the top of the sand dune.  You will note that we are not the only ones.  They had over 500 camels all carrying tourists.  There were a lot of Chinese there during the Chinese National Day Holiday.

This gal was our camel train driver!  She walked up and down the sand dunes making sure our camels didn’t get out of line.

We have the smallest and slowest donkey of the bunch!  Of course, he was pulling the biggest people in the group!
