On Thursday, August 2nd, we went fishing for salmon. We had reserved spaces on this big boat. It was great fun! 
I got skunked, but Dave caught a really nice Silver Salmon.
Lots of fishing gear on a boat like this! 
The captain and one deck hand kept us all in fresh bait, scooped up the fish with a big net, and even cleaned them all. There were thirty three people on the boat, and most everyone caught at least one fish. We met a lady that sat near us who caught her limit of three! She was a really good fisherman! We enjoyed visiting with her and her family. She worked as a horse shoe-er. Very interesting, hard working woman.
As the fish were gutted, the seagulls enjoyed a feast when the entrails were thrown overboard.
