On January 19th at 4:00 AM, we got up and before we knew it, we made it to the airport with Luci and Morgan Jones, and joined the rest of the BYU, China Teachers at the Chinese Folk Culture Park in Shenzhen, China. It's a wonderful attraction designed after the Polynesian Cultural Center. This park showcased folk arts and Chinese customs in a village setting. There are 24 villages scattered around the Park, and built on a scale of 1:1 on a area of 200,000 square meters.
We enjoyed sharing our experience with "flat Zoe".
The flower gardens were beautiful, and you'd never know that we were in the middle of January.
Here I am with Luci Jones. It was a nice, scenic, shady place to take a rest.
We enjoyed the Mongolian Equestrian show that exhibited fine riding skills.
The suspension bridge was fun to walk on.
We enjoyed seeing some of the Chinese craftsman (women) working.
We had a wonderful time at the Shenghen, China Cultural Park!
