WE'VE GOT A NEW GRAND DAUGHTER

Here's a picture of Heather, our glowing, expectant mother, before all the work of bringing a new baby into the world began.
We arrived at the American Fork Hospital at about 8:00 AM on February 8, 2011.  Heather had scheduled this day to have her labor induced.  She was past her due date, and it was time for Robyn Suzanne Alexander to make her appearance.
April Jolly, Heather's sister, was with us for the waiting.
We enjoyed a fun game of Blockus while the waiting began.  You can see that the Pitocin is hung on the IV Pole, and at this point, it was just getting going.  At around 2:00 PM, the doctor broke Heather's water.

At around 7:00 PM, The doctor came in and decided that it was time. This picture was taken just before the "coming out party".  You can see the nurse in the background getting the warming bed ready for Robyn.
Robyn came into the world at 7:29 PM.  She weighed eight pounds even, and was 18 1/2 inches long.  She's our tenth grand child.
Robyn was only minutes old in this picture with her Daddy and Papa Dave.
